My stupid conscience foiled the plan.
The guilt I've felt all weekend has finally come to an end; I came clean this morning to my parents. I walked into the kitchen with my head low and handed them my real progress report. You know the report card you get, mid semester, to show how you’re progressing along. Except, it does not actually count for anything. Well, my parents take it seriously and if I have anything below a B, I'm grounded for the weekend. Kristy was having her birthday party on Saturday and our progress reports came on Friday. I know it was wrong, but I had to do it. I took my report out of the mail and scanned it to my computer with our VuPoint Solutions Magic Wand Portable Scanner. From watching secret agent shows, I've learned how to alter documents. I changed the two C's into B's and pressed print. I put the fake report into the envelope and stuck it back into the mailbox.
