The lines were horrible and people were pushing each other out of the way left and right. Ben knew why he didn’t like going to the store, but for some reason he found himself fighting the crowds again and again. Ben grimaced as he surveyed the miles-long line in front of him, mostly full of people buying ten or more items.
“Man, this pack of AA batteries doesn’t really seem worth all this wait,” he said to himself.
Just then, a man a few places in line behind him started having a breakdown. Ben turned around to see him on the floor convulsing.
