Silence cut through the room like a big wad of wet toilet paper. Strands of tissue hung off and began losing shape under the weight of the water. Dylan was holding the gigantic wad, running around the room in a noiseless panic wondering how he had gotten himself into such a predicament.
“What do I do?” he shouted to his friend Mo. Dylan ran closer to him and attempted to pass it off.
“Don’t give it to me!” Mo protested, but his friend had already tossed the soggy amorphous ball in his direction. His only options were to catch it or be hit with it; Mo chose the former.
“It feels so gross!” he exclaimed upon catching it. “Why did you do this?”
“I can’t remember!”
The two friends had been in some pickles before, but this one took the cake. If they didn’t do something soon, things were about to get ugly. Hoping to find some inspiration in the power of music, Dylan pulled out his cell phone.
“Don’t call anyone, that isn’t going to help!” Mo said.

“Oh thank God!” Mo said in relief.
“Right. I’m going to put on some Journey because they’re the best band ever.”
“Of course.”
“And then we should be able to figure our way out of this mess.”
Dylan started playing “Don’t Stop Believing” through his phone. The inspirational lyrics about small town girls and city boys taking midnight trains going anywhere kick started their brains.
“We should put this thing in the trash can.”
“Bingo.”
